I never really followed European club football so must admit had never heard of him when he signed but soon became a favourite and of course will always be remembered for that goal
An amazing scoring record for us has to be up there with the greatest City players
Yes he can have a nasty side but it usually against players who have hacked him and got away with it

Another goal against Palace  see Sergio  to  within  1  goal  of  Eric Brook's  record.
Think  he showed  against  Palace  he  is  a  team  playing  setting  his  team  mate  up  more.

Brook 177
Aguero  176
Johnson  166
Bell 153
Meredith  152
Hayes  152
Lee  148

Presume after his sublime penalty vs Wolves, the little fella is our new club top scorer or do penalty shoot outs not count?

No they don't count them so we will have to wait a bit longer

It has been on the cards that he will be our all time top scorer. The bigger question is how many will he eventually get for us , given that he isn't a Pep favourite and we still seem keen on Sanchez?

It wouldn't surprise me that based on the fact Sergio is now our leading goal scorer of all time and will forever go down as a true City legend, that Pep may now use this opportunity to shift him on (sadly) and get a good price for him whilst he can (although I do hope I am wrong).

If this is for another young Gabriel Jesus, then that is an interesting argument, but hopefully not for an older player like Sanchez though...
