I won't be surprised if Huddersfield are up for this game against what I expect will be our B side. Of course with Pep there is no telling what he will do. With CL match on the horizon I would imagine the great emphasis will be Monaco for the coming week. I still think even with our B side we can take Huddersfield and I'd go with a 2-0 City win.

You are probably right OB and its me talking bollocks i just thought some players were coasting as if they expected to win from the start,  i dread to think what might have happened if the ref had not disallowed the Stones pull back goal.

Good  spot  by  the  ref     and  he  did  well  all  game

The "Altrincham"  fan  on Saturday  may  not be  as  good

Wonder if he will  rest Sergio for this with Jesus being out and the Champions League Monaco game the following Tuesday playing Nolitio or  Nacho
Will Bravo come in as cup keeper?

Almost impossible to know what to expect from Pep. I'm fairly sure he won't start Aguero but Pep doesn't always rest players for Cup matches.

TEAM NEWS

Huddersfield will be without Aaron Mooy, who is ineligible against his parent club.

Fellow midfielders Jonathan Hogg and Kasey Palmer are also both out with hamstring injuries.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola could rotate his squad ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash against Monaco.

City will definitely be without Gabriel Jesus, who has a broken metatarsal so top scorer Sergio Aguero could start for the first time in four matches.
