Think its bad for anyone with kids at school
By the time they get home would be very late even without extra time
Another reason we should have had the Saturday

Whilst we've got many fans in the south we are still a northern club and the vast vast majority of our fans will have a 3 hour one way journey to London.

Therefore if we can sell between 30-35,000 tickets for a semi on a Sunday afternoon, then that's a tremendous effort.

Not only that, but the Twentys Plenty campaign doesn't seem to apply to the FA's own competition....

We would of sold out 5 years ago easily. Fans get blasť very easily nowadays or disillusioned that we haven't won a treble. Personally I can't wait for the semi final, love visits to Wembley and don't take it for granted. We clearly need the tourists to fill the empty seats. Some fans are citing cost as a factor for no longer going to games and I agree that's a factor for London trips but season tickets in the south stand start at £299 so seats never been cheaper. Also I'm in the cup scheme and they're discounted. I think the club do there best on pricing.

The club have discounted for childs tickets at Wembley - I think the club have subsidised this as the tix. themselves show full adults price on them.

Would be interested to know whether Chelsea, Spurs, and Arsenal have done the same.

I'm hearing 8000 unsold tickets, if that's true then it's staggering with a premier league home average 54000.

Is the 8,000 unsold tickets just for a City end, or for game in general?

Also If just for City end then what is our total allocation? 35,000? 40,000?

But if our initial allocation say 35,000 and we've only sold say 28,000, then that's not great.

Think there is 1500 tickets still available in our end.. arsenal only just sold out on Tuesday. Hardly deserves a daily mail headline if you ask me. I'm surprised there isn't 8000 tickets left in our end to be honest. Piss take as usual us being down there on a Sunday night struggling to get back home on the rattler. Bring back villa park all day for the semi

Semi shouldn't be at Wembley but let's be honest, not right we can't sell out at Wembley, that's if we don't btw as I understand we're close. It's easier to get home on Sunday than 5.30 on Saturday. I'm still so keen on going to watch City at Wembley maybe it blinds me to indifference and complacency. Anyway, as an old fart, I understand fans can't afford tickets but can sky sports, mobile contracts to update their status but accept it's a diffenent world. Maybe that's why the atmosphere is shit at the Etihad, different world, different fans

Think the atmosphere when we weren't winning things was so much better probably as the fans that attended were there for the love of the club and not for the big money superstars
