Haven't seen Zinchenko play so am looking forward to this one i think with this team we will be way too strong for them. (they need to change Silvas pic)
Maybe at fault for their goal but otherwise did OK

TEAM NEWS

David Silva is expected to return for Manchester City, having missed the loss at Liverpool last weekend due to a stomach problem.

Fabian Delph was forced off with a knee injury at Anfield and is set to be replaced by Danilo, while Vincent Kompany could miss out again.

Dwight Gayle faces a fitness test for Newcastle after picking up a knock in the 1-1 draw with Swansea.

Florian Lejeune is doubtful with a foot injury and Jesus Gamez remains out.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Pep Guardiola on the Alexis Sanchez transfer situation: "He [Sanchez] is still an Arsenal player and it looks like he will go to United, so congratulations and good luck to them.

"My opinion of Alexis remains the same. It was a pleasure to be with him at Barcelona. He has decided to move on to another club and I wish him all the best."

Rafa Benitez: "When I was talking to Mike Ashley, he told me the takeover would not go through.

"We are doing what we have to do in this transfer window and preparing for the game.

"In terms of training, nothing changes. In terms of the transfer window, we have targets, we have names and we are trying to progress."

Probably a load of nonsense but do you think Pep came here for the challenge or money and do you think he would be tempted away by more money?

Pep Guardiola is the prime target for Paris St-Gemain, the world’s biggest-spending club.

The Manchester City boss has 16 months remaining on his current £15million a-year contract and the Premier League leaders have promised to revise and extend that deal.

But PSG still believe they will eventually get their man by making it clear they will offer a spectacular new opportunity for Guardiola and his family in France.

The club that paid a world-record shattering £199m for Neymar from Barcelona earlier this season accept they may have to play a long game to get Guardiola.

But they are boosted by the fact that in his two coaching roles so far, Guardiola spent four years in charge at Barcelona and just three years at Bayern Munich.

At both clubs he refused repeated offers to sign extended deals, saying he was ready to take on a new challenge and ultimately chose to walk away.

Guardiola is a high-intensity coach who drives himself and his team in pursuit of glory.

The tension between the respective club owners serves only to add to the rivalry over Guardiola’s future.

PSG are owned by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI). City are under the control of the Abu Dhabi United Group. The two nations are bitter political and commercial rivals, who severed diplomatic ties with each other last year.

Luring Guardiola to PSG would be a massive coup for the Qataris.

Guardiola’s close relationship at City with his old Barca allies, director of football Txiiki Begiristain and chief exective Ferran Soriano, will give the Mancunians confidence that he will stay.

But inside City there have been whispers for weeks that PSG won’t go away.
